The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 29 December 2020 5 Comments

Hallelujah, one of Mariage Frères' holiday teas for 2020: "Mariage Frères enriches its collection of black gourmand teas with this heavenly fruity and festive creation. Citrus and fruit notes, embellished with vanilla, mingle with the vivid and sensuous flavours of black tea. The cup is velvety, generous, festive and joyful." €26 at Mariage Frères.

MF have themselves some pretty nice kinds of tea. They’ve gone all-out on the holiday tin decoration!

Yes, they all look nice this year! I think there are 4-5 holiday teas, maybe more.

The Christmas Song one sounds lovely! And the Christmas Orange.
Ha, I have to admit MOST of them look really good. I’m tempted!

Aggg, the shipping is outrageous! I guess I’m not tempted.

I have not done an order in a very long time, but the way I used to do it was to find others who wanted teas they don’t export to the US, and split the shipping. Even when one of the parties had to ship out from within the US, it still came out cheaper, and the cost of the tea itself was a bit less than it usually is here.
