Gain with Essential Oils? Why not. Concentrated Laundry Detergent in Eucalyptus & Mindful Mint, Lavender & Chamomile and Orange & Energetic Grapefruit ("Imagine yourself in a blooming orange grove on a warm spring day, with the smell of the ripe, juicy fruit permeating the crisp, clean air"), $14 each for 1.7L at Target.

Do these really scent your clothes? I always use unscented products.
I wouldn’t want my clothes to clash with my SOTD, but I might use this for towels and sheets.

I have not tried them but I’m assuming they would scent your linens…regular Gain has a pretty strong after-wash smell (to me).

I sniffed Gain because I always hear how great it smells, but it seems unremarkable to me. On the other hand, my husband loves the Tide Oxy detergent scent. It’s more herbal than the regular Tide. Since I read once that they use a more herbal scent in Tide for the European market, I wonder if this is the same thing?

I hate the smell of all laundry detergents really — I use the unscented Tide. Would be interested to smell the European version though!
