They actually make the hairs on my neck stand up

Posted by Robin on 15 December 2020 9 Comments

It would be a sticky vanilla, the smell of people’s breath when they’re smoking. I can’t bear that smell, and I can’t bear the smell of wet washing once it has dried and it’s gone stale. Those three together would be the worst smell. They actually make the hairs on my neck stand up.

She describes the smell of her dog as dried digestive biscuits. I think that’s fairly good. I once read someone describing dog as corn flakes 😀 Some truth to both! Others say my dog stinks but I love his smell too.

Yes…I always think corn chips rather than corn flakes, but we all know the smell in any case 🙂

I connected with Jo Malone fragrances from the beginning years ago, when Oprah had her network show and mentioned she used her body creams. She seems to prefer fresh fragrances and I unapologetically prefer them too.

She does. The style does not always suit me but have really liked a few, and wish it was easier to get her new line here.

If you’re curious, you can actually buy tamboti wood:

I’m trying to figure out what I would do with a 4-foot board, though. This would make an interesting “split,” if anyone has the right tools.

      Working it requires care, though:

There are carved tamboti pens and rings on Etsy.

Might be easier than working with an elephant ?

If u like the smell of unwashed dog fur or cat fur, then go for Musc Koublai Khan by Serge Lutens and Absolue Pour le Soir from Francis Kurkdjian
