Friday scent of the day 11/20

It’s Friday and Universal Children’s Day. Our community project for today: for Bo Derek’s birthday, wear a perfume that you would rate an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

I’m in a solid 11 that also works well for pretending you’re on the beach at Las Hadas in Manzanillo (preferably, without any of the characters from the 10 movie) — Frédéric Malle Carnal Flower.

A combination of home cooking, dust and love

It has now been over half a year since I’ve been inside my grandmother’s house. I visited her garden and said a socially distanced “Hello,” but it wasn’t the same. I missed the smell of her house. I used to stay there for a few nights every so often and I’d always come home smelling “of Granny’s house.” I wish there was a better word for it! I think it’s a combination of home cooking, dust and love.
