Nope, The Pixies belong to disaffected teens, making out in dubious night-clubs and dressed in grunge or surfer gear. Not compatible with the Mugler world (in my imagination – of course)

Seems compatible with Angel but not with the model in that dress (?)

I saw this exhibition of Mugler once and his style seems to be highly glammed up – stylised – haute couture. The structured pant suit she is wearing is fairly demure having seen some of his other work! The song, on the other hand, is quintessentially grunge – on the OTHER far end of the fashion spectrum 😀

Yes — but I do not think of Angel as glam at all, or as the scent that I would pick to go with most Mugler fashion. (I am thinking more of the 90s stuff, I don’t know what they’re doing now.)

Alien seems more of a fit with the fashion.

Especially if Angel really has rotting garbage notes as I think one critic said! I need to actually buy a small bottle of it because I can never recall the exact scent and it comes up so often. But yeah – I can imagine the olfactory profile matching the soundtrack but being out of kilter with the visual aesthetic.
