I don’t know that the world needs another disgorgement of fragrances but I’ll say this much: the bottles are pleasant enough and the price is shockingly reasonable, just 39,90 € per, or $47ish USD, $60 CAD. (https://www.april-beauty.com/marques/ted-lapidus/stories-by-lapidus/)

I’d try about half of them if they ever presented themselves to me.

I really like the bottles…looks like they maybe took a little inspiration from Berdoues?

And yes, price not too bad. I’d try them too if I ever saw them, but that is massively unlikely.

Being from Brazil I cannot find anything in these fragrances that evokes that country, it’s wonderful nature, joy of life or many problematic topics. Nor are the ingredients particularly brazilian.

All I see is over-sexed prejudice. The whole thing is offensive to me. A wasted opportunity as brazilians as whole adore scent almost more than any other nation! (We have our own local brand such as Natura, Phebo and O Boticario – most regular incomes can’t afford Chanel + import tax).

For a job done properly see L’Occitane Brasil.

      Sorry – rant over now.

I am guessing nearly every location-inspired fragrance alienates some percentage of the people who actually live in the location…but that’s rarely who they are marketing to.

I’ve been disappointed at how few of the L’Occitane Brasil scents are marketed outside Brazil! They brought over a few early on, but they must not have done well because I haven’t seen any lately.

Love the bottles, hate the names! I mean, if one is representing Brazil, one could have a little more thought in the names? Maybe some of the notes too? They needed a coffee scent for sure lol and a green one.

      The names are atrocious.
