Memo Sintra & Odeon ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 12 October 2020 5 Comments

French niche line Memo has launched two new fragrances: Sintra and Odéon.

Sintra ~ Art Land collection. "A reminiscence of childhood thanks to its marshmallow note brought by the Orange Blossom Absolute, the petitgrain and the Madagascar Vanilla Absolute. Both mellow and airy, thanks to the presence of musks, it has a very round, floral and fruity sweetness. Deliciously light, resolutely addictive."

Odéon ~ Exclusive to the Memo website and Paris boutique. "In the heart of Paris, l'Odéon remembers the literary and jazzy vertigo that enlivened its clubs and cafés. An air vibrating with the essence of patchouli. Under the dome of the Pantheon, exceptional men and women ensure that this creative fire lives on. Its amber glow, stirred by candied date and sandalwood. The desire for art rustles between the folds of the curtain of the theatre that bears its name. We salute the performance of the rose essence, the tonka bean before regaining the charm of old stones and silver roofs, to be overwhelmed by the presence of musks. Like in a novel. A neighbourhood woven of fictions, pages to devour, moments to live, waiting in the booksellers' boxes for the early morning, when the Odeon awakes. Again, forever.."

Memo Sintra and Odéon are available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

That Sintra bottle, sigh, love it. And like the notes too.

Absolutely gorgeous bottles. Memo know how to make a nice looking bottle. But for some reason note for Sintra are Marshmallow among other sweet tooth notes. Sintra is beautiful interesting, weird, rugged, pine-y and many other things. Nothing about the notes recalls the place in my mind – it’s like they’ve just used the name of the place as an excuse to put those gorgeous tiles on a bottle.
