Chanel Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privee ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 31 July 2020 7 Comments

Chanel will launch Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privée in August. Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privée is a flanker to 2001's Coco Mademoiselle, which was a flanker to 1984's Coco; it will be fronted by Keira Knightley.

Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privée was developed by Chanel house perfumer Olivier Polge, and is described as a more delicate and soothing version of the original, with softer wood notes, to be used on hair and skin at bedtime. The oriental features notes of orange, rose, jasmine and white musks.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privée will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Hmm. I get the bedtime, but that would be a great formula for use during the heat of day, where a lighter, softer scent is warranted. Also for those of us who work in positions where a soft scent would be called for.

It sounds good to me. I often prefer softer/lighter fragrances. Just a bit worried about those white musks…

A soothing bedtime scent sounds nice right about now when I need the soothing I can get. Yes, people could wear this anytime though. For years it has been a routine of mine anyway to put on fragrances in the evening, like 3-4 hours before bedtime, that have some quality that is comforting and relaxing to me to help me unwind.

Didn’t Chanel release the intense version not too long ago? Haven’t tried that one but started enjoying the original CM again fairly recently. I will have to try both.
