The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 25 July 2020 7 Comments

From Gucci's Herbarium collection, the bee incense stand in porcelain, shown in green, also sold in black. "The incense burner is designed as a small round dish, featuring Gucci's Herbarium motif—a whimsical Toile de Jouy design of cherry branches, leaves and flowers, inspired by a vintage fabric. The center bee, a historical Gucci code taken from the '70s archives, has a small opening to hold an incense stick." 4 inch diameter, $195. Hat tip to Kevin! (If you look around, you can find a slightly larger oval dish with a stag beetle instead of a bee, $310.)

Well yikes, of course I like the stag beetle one! Both are fabulous.

The bee is a comparative bargain, ha.

Although the even-more spendy burner on nst many a moon ago was my favourite, namely the porcelain cat with smoke coming out if its mouth…

Very cute incense burner, but I have several already that cost a tiny fraction of that amount of money. 🙂 Incense burners aren’t something I get obsessed about collecting — at least not at this point in my life. lol. But I can still appreciate the pretty. 🙂
