I was actually just reading Demeter’s list of odd perfumes and thinking they should add “eau de amine” – I used to go to sea on submarine for testing periods at my old job and that smell never quite leaves your clothes no matter how many times they go through the laundry. There’s a good description here: https://charest.net/2018/12/30/the-smell-of-a-submarine/ I imagine space stations have similar issues with keeping enough oxygen in the air and get that same awful chemical smell.
