Focus and strength during quarantine

Posted by Robin on 15 June 2020 8 Comments

This unprecedented situation has reminded me of what is important to me: my wife, my family, my love for perfumery. The power of fragrance is underestimated. Fragrance conveys a magic message mixed with love, emotion and psychology. It's been my focus and strength during quarantine.

— From Here's what perfumer Alberto Morillas has been up to while working from home at Buro (and see also, Kenzo Flower's perfumer, Dora Baghriche, on staying creative while working from home).

He always seems such a likeable man. I wouldn’t mind having his office, for that matter. It looks wonderful.

I find Alberto always so very charming and will always love him for Le Baiser du Dragon.

Love this quote and the photos.

And look at him working the scent strips?…I just posted on the daily thread I am buying some off Amazon today to help test and prioritize my own modest collection. 😉

I would love to be confined in such luxurious accommodations!

It was fun to see the pics. I wish there had been some more content – like what he is working on (if he’s allowed to share), or if there’s a pet project he’s working on now that he perhaps has more time to devote to it, etc.. Thanks for posting, Robin!
