Le Couvent Aqua Amantia, Aqua Millefolia & Aqua Palmaris ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 17 April 2020 5 Comments

Le Couvent has launched Aqua Amantia, Aqua Millefolia and Aqua Palmaris, three fragrances in the new garden-inspired Colognes Botaniques Absolues collection.

Aqua Amantia ~ "Under the creative fragrance direction of Jean-Claude Ellena, one of the greatest perfumers worldwide, a Fruity Floral fragrance is born. [...] The Gardens of Taj Mahal and its flowing flowers tell the story of an irresistible idyll, just like the Arabian Nights. A bed of Petals and a veil of Purple Hibiscus flowers release a sensual and fruity fragrance, symbol of an eternal romance." Additional notes include grapefruit and cedar.

Aqua Millefolia ~ "...a Green Citrus fragrance is born. [...] An oasis on the borders of the East, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and its terraces exhale the scents of a summer rain. An amount of wild herbs, the Green Verbena reveals a sparkling and citrus fragrance, as a resplendent mirage." Additional notes include citrus, mint and gaiac wood.

Aqua Palmaris ~ "...a Powdery Floral fragrance is born. [...] Wonders of Andalusia in the rising sun, the Gardens of Alhambra and its orchards appear in the light of a radiant dawn. A flower bouquet and the blossoming of Neroli signify the wake of a powdery floral fragrance, as an enchanting landscape." Additional notes include petitgrain and white musk.

Le Couvent Aqua Amantia, Aqua Millefolia and Aqua Palmaris are available in 50 and 100 ml Cologne Botanique Absolue.

It is getting hard to track JCE now that he is out of Hermes, n’est pas? 😉

    This sound very interesting!
I really hope the price points are more within my reach.
Looking forward to trying these once the world becomes at least partially normal! ❤️❤️❤️
Sending you a hug Robin ❤️?

Yes! And he is not doing the perfumer here, he is the creative director.

Hugs back, P, and hope you are doing well!

Is this the rebranding of Le Couvent de Minemes that disappeared off shelves a few years ago?

Yes, although it’s like the third or fourth wave now (you can follow the tag back; they started a couple years ago after L’Occitane sold them:
