Four videos from the Orto botanico di Padova, the world's oldest academic botanical garden. It is affiliated with the University of Padua, and is a UNESCO world heritage site. First up is a recent video honoring the first day of spring and World Poetry Day. I believe someone is reading a poem by Gianni Rodari called 21 Marzo, but  I don't speak Italian and I swear to nothing. Then below the jump, first a drone view of the garden in 2014, followed by a 2013 video featuring a number of plant and flower close-ups.
