L’Occitane Herbae L’Eau ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 9 March 2020 7 Comments

L’Occitane has launched Herbae L'Eau, a new fragrance for women. Herbae L'Eau is a flanker to last year's Herbae.

Bursting with the sweet floral freshness of white clover, HERBAE par L’OCCITANE L’EAU is a citrus-floral fragrance, delicate and luminous but also unpredictable. Until now, the white clover flower scent did not exist in perfumery, but L’Occitane has created a unique accord that brings the white clover freshness to life. Discover the collection and layer your fragrance to let you feel wild at heart all day…

The crystal-clear facets of white clover mingle with the green, petal-soft freshness of natural extracts of marshmallow and angelica. A fresh citrus-floral fragrance, it is complementary to the original HERBAE par L’OCCITANE EDP fragrance; more delicate and luminous but also unpredictable.

Additional notes include lemon, bergamot, jasmine, holy grass, musk and blond wood.

L'Occitane Herbae L'Eau is available in 10 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching bath & body products.

What the heck is “white clover?” Not only have I never seen this available in fragrance, I can’t recall ever seeing white clover on the ground.

I’d assume it was regular clover, since the flowers for those are white anyway.

There are many different colored varietals of that flower – see https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trifolium_repens (and, if you are curious, the list in the end of this page: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clover )

Where I live, white (and yellow) sweet clover grows everywhere. It has the most divine smell, much more fragrant than the low-growing clover with which more people are more familiar. https://www.minnesotawildflowers.info/udata/r9ndp23q/pd/melilotus-alba-08.jpg

No, and last I checked it is not on the French website either. I think it was an early launch in UK for Valentine’s Day.

Nice marketing copy . . . cuz now I want to buy it. Thank goodness it’s not available in the US. 😉
