The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 5 March 2020 8 Comments

Macy's is upping their game lately with a bunch of reasonably priced, not-quite-niche but not-designer-either scented products at a reasonable price. Witness the Gin room spray from Clark & James: "Gin the fragrance of evening cocktail parties and a roaring good time. Inspired by a classic gin tonic, with notes of juniper, rosemary, ginger and a hint of fresh lime." 237 ml for $25.

Because who doesn’t want their home to smell like a gin soaked souse? Jeez I’d rather drink some gin and maybe just splash a little out of my glass. 😉

Believe it or not a gin room spray sounds appealing to me! And I don’t generally even drink gin.

I wonder if it can be used as hand sanitizer ?

Probably, but it might not be safe for work… ?

Ha! Perfume is better- most room sprays are water based, I think I was told.
My sister made her own hand sanitizer with 91% rubbing alcohol mixed in aloe gel+ tea tree oil.

Pretty sure real gin works as a hand sanitizer 😉

Apparently it has to be at least 120 proof (60% alcohol).

I was kidding! But good idea to clarify.
