Ralph Lauren Polo Deep Blue ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 19 February 2020 4 Comments

Ralph Lauren has launched Polo Deep Blue, a new fresh aquatic fragrance for men. Polo Deep Blue is a flanker to 2002's Polo Blue.

Inspired by the cool deep ocean and lush island scents, this powerful parfum—the most highly concentrated level of fragrance—opens with a wave of refreshing citrus and green mango amplified with CristalFizz™, a unique aquatic ingredient that boosts the intensity. Aromatic cypress and clary sage add another level of sophistication, freshness, and sensuality to the fragrance.

Additional notes include grapefruit oil, bergamot, geranium, deep ocean accord, musk, patchouli, fir balsam and ambroxan.

Ralph Lauren Polo Deep Blue is available in 75 and 125 ml Parfum.

Not to be confused with Crystal Light. I loved Polo, Polo Sport in the 90s. And did like Black for a while. I don’t think much of the more recent flankers, like Red.

They really should have used another name!

    This version doesn’t sound good…

I fell in love with polo blue in 2004 and bought a bottle in 2006. I haven’t smelled in years, not sure how I’d feel about it now.

CristalFizz doesn’t sound appealing — I’ll take mine with just the mango & cypress.
