Posted by Robin on 6 January 2020 5 Comments

Nobody really knows what you're wearing. You're not walking around with, like, a Gucci belt or a Dior bag or something that people can see. So actually, I think one of the great things about perfume is that it is about self-creation and self-performance.

I like that statement. Maybe I’ll add it to my explanation to normal people why oh why I am interested in and have so many fragrances.

To the first sentence: This does not refer to us nerds anyway. What with the #SOTD and I’m Wearing functionalities in parfumo or fragrantica, and what with the huge list of replies in the Lazy weekend polls… – Freaks!

I like the self-creation idea too.

I saw way too many gucci belts this new years lol…and ysl bags with the tassle. It’s gotta have the tassle lol. I do prefer the more “transparent luxuries”:). Except for chocolate…but I don’t wear that, usually lol.
