Christian Dior Miss Dior Rose N’Roses ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 2 January 2020 10 Comments

Christian Dior has launched Miss Dior Rose N'Roses, a new flanker to 2005 / 2011's Miss Dior.

Miss Dior Rose N'Roses is a sparkling floral fragrance, an abundance of Grasse Roses brightened by Bergamot zest and intensified by White Musk.

The vibrant essence of Geranium refines the composition, recreating the irresistible scent of an endless field of flowers. This bright fragrance takes hold of you and never lets go.

Additional notes include mandarin.

Dior Miss Dior Rose N'Roses is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Punctuation police here! If the letter N is an abbreviation of the word “and”, then surely there should be an apostrophe both before & after said letter…

It looks like the perfume name is a riff on the rock band name “Guns N’ Roses”. There’s only one apostrophe in that, too.

        I thought the same thing!

Oh good grief, that never even occurred to me! I am aware of the one apostrophe in the band’s name, though. Just been annoying recently reading media articles with glaring spelling, grammar & punctuation errors, not to mention restaurants with errors on their menus.

I think this name dumbs down Dior even more now. Sad really. I wish they would just stop.

It comes off as a case of the name really not matching what the perfume is.

Being the punctuation police for the fragrance industry is a thankless task, that’s all I can say.

I tried this in the store and I actually really liked it! The dry down was kind of boring though.

I tried it tonight, and was pleasantly surprised. I thought the bottle was nice looking too.
