Fall cleaning with Mrs. Meyer's, in limited edition Acorn Spice ("Warm, with hints of nutty cinnamon and oak – how nice!"), available in all the usual suspects — Dish Soap, Hand Soap, Candle, Multi-Surface Cleaner. Other scents this fall include Apple Cider, Spiced Pumpkin and Mum.

It’s Tuesday and Karl Lagerfeld’s birthday. (And, the swapmeet is still open for another week!) What fragrance are you wearing?

Yves Saint Laurent Grain de Poudre ~ fragrance review

If you’ve focused on the “poudre” part of Yves Saint Laurent Grain de Poudre, never fear: it isn’t a powdery scent. Instead, it’s a well mannered, spicy leather. Confusing the matter further, grain de poudre actually refers the stiff but smooth finish of fabrics used, for instance, in blazers and handbags.
