Who wants that?

Posted by Robin on 5 November 2019 4 Comments

One? Smell? Oh gosh, that’s so limiting. I’m sure the perfume company would want me to say my perfume, but I’m not sure that I’d want to have any one smell. I don’t want to do that, so no. I’m not doing it. I’m not having one smell forever. I don’t even think of putting a scent on my hands, or having them smell like anything. Who wants that?

— Cher, answering The Cut's question about the smell she would want on her hands forever. Read more in Cher Shares Some Thoughts on Perfume.

…I want that? I always put a scent on my hands, sometimes *only* there. That way, I’m guaranteed to smell it when I perform ordinary actions like adjusting my glasses, holding a phone to my ear, or removing a pen from my shirt pocket.

I often put perfume only on my hands 🙂

But would you really want to pick just one smell, forever?
