The (almost) daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 25 June 2019 5 Comments

From Juniper Ridge, Douglas Fir & Rosehips tea: "A soft, savory tea that sings with the flavor of clean mountain air and the resonant note of rosehips. Harvested from California’s northern coast, this simple blend dances with sweet fragrance and a spark of tanginess. Serve hot for a restful companion in the cold, or chilled for the perfect refreshment after a long day outside." 20 tea bags for $13 at Juniper Ridge.

omg I ordered this so fast. I’m almost as much of a sucker for pine flavored things as I am for flower flavored things!

The only thing stopping me from buying this is the commitment I made to my fiance to not buy any more tea until we’ve worked through at least part of our seemingly endless stash. But it’s really requiring me to sit on my hands. Grr.

    Mini-review for these teas:
Douglas Fir and Rosehips: Very good! Smells more like douglas fir, tastes more like rosehips, very nicely blended. I think anyone who likes the taste of pine would like this.
Yerba Santa: YIKES BITTER. Maybe I need to steep less than the instructions say? This one is very sagey-funky, not for the faint of heart.

Regina thank you so much for the very helpful review — very good to know about both! I’d been thinking of ordering some incense and this might tip me over the edge 🙂
