From Diptyque's upcoming Raw Materials in Color collection, L'Ombre dans L'Eau in a 30 (yay!) ml tinted bottle exploring the relationship between color and scent. The series also includes Do Son, Eau de Sens, Philosykos and Tam Dao.

I thought I heard they were discontinuing L’Ombre dans L’Eau. A 30 ml bottle is even better (for me) than the old bottles. But maybe I got it wrong.

Ohh, Springpansy, I hope not. In case they do, Clarin’s Eau des Jardins is a very close dupe, it’s a little softer (without the hard green notes) but with the same fragrance profile as L’Ombre dans L’Eau. As a bonus, it comes in a wonderful shower gel and body lotion.

Oh, I wonder what the other colors the bottles will have. I need to get more Tam Dao (of course I do!) and I just ordered a sample of Eau de Sens…. 30 ml colored bottles would be great!

What an odd color choice for a perfume whose name (IMO the best thing about it) evokes something more like this week’s Georgia O’Keeffe painting!

These seem to exist only on the pages of a Japanese men’s magazine. I cannot find any reference to them anywhere. Frustrating. Wonder what on earth they are up to with this…
