Timothy Han Edition Perfumes Heart of Darkness ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 4 June 2019 6 Comments

London-based niche line Timothy Han Edition Perfumes has introduced Heart of Darkness, a new fragrance inspired by the Joseph Conrad novella.

Watery green floral notes give way to the scent of dark woods and damp moss, infused with hints of burning coal and amber. Inspired by Joseph Conrad’s 1899 novella of the same name, this is a journey by steamer up the Congo River into the unknown.

Additional notes include ozonic and rain accords, galbanum, ylang ylang, jasmine, African violet, cedar, sandalwood, guaiacwood, vetiver, birch tar, leather, musk, earth and patchouli.

Timothy Han Edition Perfumes Heart of Darkness is £140 for 60 ml Eau de Parfum, and can be found at the brand website.

Seriously. I love the idea of this line but I hope the next book is a Wodehouse.

      Love all these comments.

Am now considering notes for The Jungle, inspired of course by the novel by Upton Sinclair….
