It perfumes the entire house

Roasted chicken. I know that sounds very unsexy, but I love making a roast chicken because it’s so easy and simple. It’s great to cook and share with people, and I love the way it perfumes the entire house. It’s pretty basic, but that’s happiness to me.

To me, happiness smells like freshly brewed coffee.

I don’t want my house to smell like roast chicken. Yesterday, I got KFC and in the 8 minutes it took me to get home, it felt like the smell got into the seats, the floormats, my coat and my hair. I only got grilled chicken or it would have been worse if I got the Original or Extra Crispy!

My son & husband eat KFC every so often. Have to say that from my perspective, KFC smell is not at all like roast chicken smell, or even like any other sort of chicken — it is like its own separate (chemically enhanced) food product.
