The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 26 January 2019 9 Comments

From Roger & Gallet, (pretty!) candles to match the Extraits de Cologne collection. Shown is Néroli Facétie (although I think the design is the same on all of them). 175g for €50 at Galeries Lafayette in Paris.

Are there gently glowing parrots when the candle is lit? Ahh…

I hope the parrot flies when you light it.

That candle is beautiful! R&G has been available at Hudson Bay in Toronto for decades. I just wore the lovely Cassis scent from this line this past Friday. I heard a few months ago from one sales associate that they might be discontinuing the line. Nooooo! Don’t know if that’s true but you can often find their excellent scents and products, and other similar French lines in independently owned, European style pharmacies across the city. Most likely they are much easier to find in the province of Quebec, which is the case with many imported French products.
