Hump Day. Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez was baptized on this day in 1599. Rest in peace, Kate Spade. What fragrance are you wearing?
Me: Bronze Goddess Whipped Body Creme, again.
Reminder: on 6/8, wear one of your “top 10 of summer” fragrances…

I already wanted a bottle of Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Black Perfecto in the original Eau de Parfum, and now that I've seen (but not smelled!) the bottle for the Eau de Toilette, shown above, I might want that even more. "...a floral Eau de Toilette celebrating the rose in all its forms. Grasse rose-water, rose essential oil and rose absolute are encircled with almond and leather notes. The legendary inverted heart bottle takes on an intensely dark, black look. A white label embroidered of roses lends the finishing touch to this couture, fashion style. I am terribly chic and bang on trend. I am Black Perfecto by La Petite Robe Noire." In 30 and 50 ml.

For Mizensir, creation is much easier. That’s because, technically, the brand is for me. Things I create for Bvlgari or Gucci, for example, are different, mainly because I have a brief to follow. For Mizensir, I can take anywhere between one to six years to create a fragrance and I include notes that are specific to me. Sometimes I work one or two days a week and stop and come back to it at a later time because I want to be sure that I like it – almost like perfume shopping!
