Tory Burch Love Relentlessly Fou De Toi ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 27 December 2018 11 Comments

Tory Burch has launched Love Relentlessly Fou De Toi, a new fragrance for women. Love Relentlessly Fou De Toi is a flanker to 2016's Love Relentlessly.

Mad for each other, madly in love. Introducing Love Relentlessly Fou De Toi, a limited-edition scent that captures the heady, intoxicating feeling of passionate romance. It builds upon Love Relentlessly, the fragrance inspired by the love story of Tory's parents. A sparkling mix, intensified: black currant blends with feminine peony accord, rounded out with a glowing balsam accord - a floral oriental scent that leaves you wanting more.

Tory Burch Love Relentlessly Fou De Toi is available now at Ulta, in 30 ($70) and 100 ($120) ml Eau de Parfum.

‘Relentlessly’ could be kind of a scary word in this era.

I agree. Ever since Love Relentlessly was introduced the name has given me the creeps, who wants a stalker perfume?

How I wish people would learn a foreign language before using it.
It’s “Folle de toi” for a woman, “Fou de toi” for a man. Just like it’s
    “Les eaux fausses”.

In my opinion this is a quite impolite behaviour towards the native speakers.

But rudeness seems to be à la mode.

I doubt they market this in any country where the native population speaks French, but point taken.

Yeah, Tory Burch didn’t seem to be much of a phenomenon when I was in France. 😉

Miller Harris guilty of this same thing, also Tom Ford.

Perhaps the idea is that the perfume makes the male lover say this when he smells it on the female?

Giving Victoria Secret strong competition for word salad perfume names. Now we need a noir or two!

Yes! Although I was also sorta hoping for the especially ridiculous “Love Relentlessly Intense”.

And the inevitable nighttime version: Love Relentlessly Intense Noir.

    Would “Love Intensely” work?
