The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 17 September 2018 10 Comments

Drawer liners (which I always lemm but never buy) from Diptyque. Shown are the Benjoin liners ("Featuring motifs from the Maison's archives revived in contemporary tones, these ten fragrance-infused papers slip into small spaces to spread the notes of this iconic fragrance from Collection 34.") $65. Right now, in the US, there are also papers in 34 boulevard Saint Germain and Le Redoute; in the UK, you can also find them in Rose Delight.

What, you never buy $65 drawer liners? I’m shocked

Ha! I don’t even buy $10 drawer liners. I just think about it for a few minutes 🙂

I spray perfume or dump unwanted perfume samples on cotton balls. I think they achieve the same effect 🙂

True enough, although the papers are awfully pretty! (Actually, don’t love the color & pattern on these so much, but the Rose Delight, those were girly / pretty…I wouldn’t want them as wallpaper but inside a drawer they’d be perfect.)

Why would you want your drawer to smell like your unwanted perfume? I agree there are alternatives.

That’s a beautiful pattern and colors — I wish they would reproduce it on a silk scarf!

      Also in pillow & pouch.

And should have said, it is not *exactly* that pattern, but it’s close.

I did see those at one point, but I don’t like the gray against red. The new pattern is crisp and the colors look clear because of the separation and white areas.

They do have many lemmable things though — look at this fan:

And there is a beautiful lavender wand…

Ha, the lavender one is today, and the fan was posted way back in 2016!
