Fresh Rose Morning ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 8 June 2018 3 Comments

Fresh has launched Rose Morning, a new fragrance for women.

Rose Morning Eau de Parfum by Fresh is a light, velvety floral scent inspired by a rose blooming in the morning sun. A modern take on a rose fragrance, it opens with a blend of rose and violet leaf, pervades with peach flower and freesia, and lingers with white tea and musk. Beautifully housed in an artisanal glass bottle, it will make a romantic addition to your perfume collection.

Additional notes include blackcurrant and amber.

Fresh Rose Morning is available now at Harrods, in 30 or 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I was a fan of Fresh way back when it first appeared in the UK & long before the company was sold to whichever conglomerate is the current owner. I bought a bottle of Enact from Liberty when it was the sole stockist in the UK & there were only a few fragrances – Enact, Entrance, Enchant & a couple of others if memory serves. Enact eventually morphed, sort of, into Cucumber Baie, which I also wore for some time. I do always pop in to their Marylebone High Street shop when I’m in London just to see what’s there but, as ever (& yes, guilty as charged for living in the past fragrance-wise) it’s just not the same.

Pretty sure they are still owned by LVMH, but not 100% positive. They do seem to be concentrating on things other than fragrance now (skincare, etc).

Couldn’t remember who the original couple who started the company (in Boston, many years ago, as I remember coming across their shop during a visit to that lovely city) had sold it to, Robin, but yes, fragrance seems to be taking a back seat to other products – a shame, as I remember many lovely & slightly unusual concoctions from them in their original incarnation. I also remember picking up a ‘discovery set’ for a colleague who couldn’t get enough of my Cucumber Baie when I reapplied it in my lunch hour!
