Dolce & Gabbana The One Mysterious Night ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 5 June 2018 2 Comments

Dolce & Gabbana have launched The One Mysterious Night, a new limited distribution flanker to 2008's The One for Men. The One Mysterious Night follows 2015's The One Royal Night.

Following The One Royal Night, The One Mysterious Night is the second exclusive edition for the Middle East to join the franchise, celebrating once more the combination of an Arabian soul with Italian essences. This new fragrance explores the enigmatic world of the original The One for Men, adding a touch of the vibrant and magnetic scents of this oriental land.

The fragrance opens with vibrant, spicy notes of saffron, combined with the scent of grapefruit. At the heart, rose absolute and oud accord blend with clary sage. The base reveals the original softness and richness of The One for Men, with warm amber, precious woods, alongside refined accords of cistus labdanum and tonka bean.

Dolce & Gabbana The One Mysterious Night is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Is the Middle Eastern consumer really attracted to these exotified names that seem tailor made for western Orientalism?

Or is the target group rich, western tourist with trigger happy credit cards in Dubai International Airport?

    Not that I’d encounter them.

So many brands make them that I can only assume they sell (?)
