The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 14 March 2018 8 Comments

Aerin's (pretty) Amber Musk rollerball: "Amber musk blends sensual florals, distinctive amber, and creamy musk. Ambrox makes a velvety first impression, contrasted by a succulent burst of coconut water and the femininity of rose centifolia absolute. Like the glow of amber flames, lingering benzoin and musk infuse the fragrance with warmth." $30 at Sephora.

I don’t like rollerballs. They collect dead skin cells in the juice, don’t they?

I don’t like them either, and yes, they do.

But will add, it’s not much different than a splash bottle or an extrait bottle! I just prefer spray.

I have one on reserve at Nordstrom for the upcoming Beauty Event. I don’t use rollerballs as a rule so my plan is to pop off the rollerball top and decant the juice to an atomizer.

That’s a brilliant idea! I have a few roller balls but have a difficult time figuring out just the right application amount.

Ewwwww. I’d never thought of it in quite those terms. Yuck.

I know I’m in the minority, but I like rollerballs – small, slim, convenient and I can control where the fragrance goes. The dead skin cells thing doesn’t really freak me out. I mean, they’re on my towels and sheets and etc, if we’re being practical here. And if I decant this one, I don’t get to use the pretty applicator bottle. Curious about the fragrance itself, but it sounds nice.
