Big perfume has designs on your Christmas

Posted by Robin on 11 December 2017 6 Comments

Big perfume has designs on your Christmas. Almost half of all the industry’s money is made in November and December, which is why you have been spritzed more aggressively than usual recently in House of Fraser and loomed over by bus-sized versions of Keira Knightley and Angelina Jolie in the streets outside.

I’ve noticed… I watch gaming videos on youtube and the perfume ads are there as well! Much better than the pregnancy test ones I get for the rest of the year (I’m a 40 yo single cat lady)

Oh interesting! Gaming videos don’t seem like where I’d put my money if I was advertising perfume.

I was at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta this past weekend (I rarely make it into the city!), and Nordstrom was sampling perfumes like crazy! I got a generous sample of Hermes Twilly but haven’t spritzed it yet.

The Tom Ford rep was giving out strips of Noir de Noir….GLORIOUS stuff!

The mind boggles as to why Secretions Magnifiques appears in an article about perfumes to give as gifts. One wonders how many UKers will get a Christmas bottle, and how many break-ups that’ll lead to…

It’s hard to imagine opening that on Christmas and taking that first whiff…
