The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 13 November 2017 4 Comments

My muscles are not particularly tired, but this sounds tempting anyway (or at least, like a good excuse to go back to bed): "Relax and relieve tired muscles with Salus's Lavender & Jasmine Heat Pillow. Scented with an soothing blend of lavender and jasmine and filled with Australian wheat. Simply heat the bag in a microwave or oven." $34.90 at Saison in Australia.

R, at least it’ll get you to clean the microwave!

Oh, it’s going to take way more than that!

I’m probably the last person from whom to take advice but here goes: microwave water with a little bit of vinegar until it starts to steam up the inside the door. Let sit for a minute, take out the water, then wipe the inside with a lint free cloth or a clean slightly wet sponge.

That is what I do except not always vinegar — I use any cleaner in water. Works a charm, but it was one of my son’s chores before he left for college and so far it has not been reassigned!
