The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 30 October 2017 4 Comments

Japanese beauty brand shu uemura has a holiday capsule collection in conjunction with Nintendo, featuring Super Mario Bros. Here are the scented makeup refresher mists ("the anytime, anywhere spray-skin perfector makeup refresher mist helps fuel your adventure from levels 1-100 with a rejuvenating fragrance. perfect as a makeup retouch solution") in Sakura (cherry blossom) and Yuzu (Japanese citrus), $29 each for 50 ml. The item from the set that I really want, and really have zero use for, is the $475 "adventure makeup box".

Oh well… your adventure box is sold out anyway. As is much of the Nintendo collection. I’m always fascinated by how quickly folks jump on these odd collections.

Yes, just as well, not that I would even consider buying it! And yes, wouldn’t really have thought there was that much overlap between high end skincare and Super Mario Bros, but shows how little I understand marketing 🙂

“dive into adventure makeup box and collect your favorite makeup items in the box with ’80s pixel coolness decoration, guaranteed to power up your invincible beauty adventures.”

Well who wouldn’t want invicible beauty adventures?!!! Complete with 80’s pixel coolness decoration. I didn’t even know I had 80’s coolness decoration. Now if only I knew what that meant 🙂
