Beautiful. Looks like a longer version of the clips by MiN New York of their scents Shaman: https://youtu.be/EVLHvmBwxaE with a bit of Onsen, which I own and really like.

Wish we could all be in that forest right now — assume it’s in Japan.

I sampled it once. I quite like it, but then it also reminded me of Hinoki. I couldn’t tell the performance (projection and longevity) though, because the sample they gave me is just a small piece of non-woven cloth soaked in perfume, like a small piece of wet handkerchief. It was difficult to apply on skin.

Reminded you of Hinoki in general or CdG Hinoki? Either way really I do want to try it.

CdG Hinoki. But then I’ve only smelled that once only. Also when I smelled Hwyl in the store, the opening made me think about Lalique Encre Noire as well. I guess that’s the “cypress + vetiver combo effect”.

I look forward to your review! I liked it, but not sure if I’m willing to shell out 100€ for it.
