The second word is Fabulous

Posted by Robin on 7 September 2017 4 Comments

Ford is a busy man; aside from being a successful designer and now filmmaker, with the lauded 2016 "Nocturnal Animals," he's just launched a new fragrance, which has a title we can't write here — but the second word is "Fabulous."

— In case anyone was wondering how The New York Times would deal with the name of Tom Ford's latest fragrance. Read more at Tom Ford Launches Fashion Week With Sequins, Celebs Galore.

    It’s F*&^ing Fabulous. *wink*

But seriously tho: like Charlotte Tilsbury Scent of Dream, which went on and on about how alluring one would be, that it was based on her own homemade essential oils and the atmosphere of Ibiza, only to be an all right floral, I am thinking that F&%$#ing Fabulous is gonna have VERY high expectations indeed.

Haven’t sniffed Fuggin’* Fabulous yet, but Noctural Animals certainly lives up to the hype. Come to think of it, “Nocturnal Animals” would also be a good name for a frag…though I couldn’t see wearing a scent inspired by that film. 🙂

    * If it was good enough for Norman Mailer in the 1940s, it’s good enough for me.

Recently there were mentions here of Mishima’s novel “Spring Snow.” Now that would be a good name for a fragrance.
