The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 19 April 2017 6 Comments

You wanted more dental care products, right? Good, because Buly's Opiat Dentaire has been on my radar ("The fountain of Castéra-Verduzan, in the Gers region, gushes up naturally, replete with sulfates, calcium and magnesium. Collected and incorporated into l’Officine’s Opiates, it is truly something to gape over: it treats throat aches while refreshing both exhalations and kisses.") and they are now available for pre-order at Bergdorf Goodman (you can also find them at Net-A-Porter and Mr. Porter). Shown are Orange Ginger Clove and Mint Coriander Cucumber, plus there is also an Apple from Montauban flavor. The 75g tubes are about $27-29 (so turns out the Marvis is a bargain). Do comment if you've tried them!

Keep it up, Robin–love exotic dental products! The cardamom floss you mentioned will be mine when it comes back into stock at Vitacost.
Did you see the Lebon toothpastes at Beautyhabit? Could not tell from a quick glance at the intro if they’re SLS-free, but am tempted.
Afraid to try the Bulys or the Lebons, lest I become enamored.

I hope you like the cardamom floss. It is not as “glide-y” as regular floss, but I really like it. Wish they would do a “cardamom intense” flavor 🙂

I did see the Lebon, but have not yet investigated seriously — I will!

So far though, the Marvis is top on my list.

Oh my goodness, $29 toothpaste!! The flavors sound yummy, the price not so much.
I bring home scads of Marvis when I travel to EU. I always buy exotic toothpaste, even if it’s just for the graphics LOL
My favorite was some strange upscale Japanese brand in REALLY strange flavors: cumin, green tea, yuzu, etc. You had an immediate hit of the flavor and then it changed to somewhat minty. Your breath did NOT end up smelling like cumin. It came in pure white tubes with pale green Japanese script of the name., very classy. I gave it to friends as gifts for the next year and people acted like I’d given them a puppy! I kind of wish I’d kept more for myself.

Yes — luxury toothpaste, apparently! It’s not a cheap brand.

      Would love yuzu toothpaste!

Breathe Palette is the brand. You can find mixed mini tube samplers on eBay and maybe full sized too. They had around 30 flavors when I saw them in Tokyo.

And I forgot all about them.
