The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 10 April 2017 9 Comments

My shower is sadly lacking in Le Labo, what's with that? If the shower fairy happens by, do have her drop off some shower gel (shown left and right, Fleur d'Oranger 27 and Bergamote 22, $52 for 237 ml) plus some Body Lotion (Ylang 49, $68 for 237 ml) and perhaps some Bath Oil (Lys 41, $68 for 120 ml). A bar soap (not shown, but I'll take the Neroli 36, $48 for 226g) would not go unloved either. All can be found at good old Saks Fifth Avenue.

Once I looked up the price of a stay at the Fairmont Hotel solely because it offers Le Labo toiletteries (Rose 31 and Bergamotte 22). Sadly it was way out of my price range, so instead I purchased some mini bottles off ebay 😉

      A wise choice 🙂

Do a deep clean of your bedroom, get some really good chocolates and tea, and claim the bathroom for yourself with the minis! There! Bliss at a fraction of the price.

She ought to drop by every time you drain a product, and leave you another. Right?

In PDX, we now have TWO Le Labo outposts: A stand alone store AND a kiosk in Nordstrom’s. I was able to wheedle a couple of samples, so I will let you guys know!

You only live once. I finished an Iris 39 shower gel and loved it each time I used it. I have a guy friend who only stays at Fairmonts but he’s a guy and clueless about Le Labo and I did not want to subject him to bringing back minis for me. That ssid, I am probably going to be staying at a Fairmont in Vancouver before my Alaska Cruise. I will make sure to leave enough room in my luggage. I may upgrade to Coach Plus (or whatever the actual name is on United as the flight is long enough to justify paying for the extra so I may check in a 2nd luggage for “free” and not worry about my luggage getting too heavy).

Also meant to mention that I would have stocked up on Vanille 44 if available but boo hiss they don’t come in the City Exclusives scent!

      YOLO!

      1) DO NOT MAKE A FUSS ON THE UNTIED FLIGHT (CAPSLOCK YELL)!!!

      2) Yes, take a mini or 10, but also remember to shop like mad when you are in port in Vancouver- some of the streets are absolutely divine, if only for window shopping! 🙂
