The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 5 April 2017 7 Comments

Êverie diffuser

A home diffusion system that would look just right in my home office (I'll still take the Diptyque Le Sablier for the bedroom): the rechargeable, programmable Parfumeur d’Intérieur (£299) from French brand Êverie was "inspired by a famous coffee brand". It comes in black or white, and works with any of 16 fragrance capsules, in scents like Basilic, Encens, Fleur d'Oranger, Rose Oud and Figue (shown below, £12 each). At Harrods in the UK.

It has a modern Frank Lloyd Wright vibe…I’d love one as well.

I wish it came in more colors, but really the white is pretty perfect.

You can easily make a Mondriaan of it when you have blue, yellow and red compartments as well. 🙂

I can’t imagine spending that kind of money on a diffuser, but I wouldn’t judge anyone who did. It’s gorgeous.

I wouldn’t spend it, and I have a feeling you’d burn through some cash on the capsules as well. But it’s nice to look at the picture!

It is totally not my style, but it is proportioned so perfectly, I want one anyway. What an example of good design. I am glad the price is outrageous.

If it was made out of cherry wood or birdseye maple, I probably wouldn’t be able to resist it at any price.

Exactly — I am happy it is not, say, $150, which I would still not want to spend but would make me think about it for weeks. At $375, there’s nothing to even think about 🙂
