Posted by Robin on 14 March 2017 10 Comments

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Now 2017

Victoria's Secret has launched Very Sexy Now, a new edition of their annual summer fragrance.

Destination: sexy. Summer ignites with this island-inspired, limited-edition scent, with notes of tropical guava and mariposa flower.

Additional notes for the fruity floral perfume include coconut.

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Now 2017 is available in 50 or 100 ml Eau de Parfum. There is also a rollerball, a Fragrance Mist and matching body products.

I do too. But I’ve yet to meet a VS I loved.

The bottle is very pretty in person.

It’s cute on the screen, too. Gonna have to stay out of VS for my wallet’s safety 😉

I’m still waiting for that new VS scent to come out that just stands out to me.
The original Body by Victoria, Heavenly, Halo, the original Bombshell…..those were the VS scents that stood out to me.
I could be wrong, but it just seems like this won’t be one to stand out for me. Maybe I have outgrown VS scents. It just seems their target audience is the younger girls these days.

I have a bunch of VS samples that I have acquired over the years, and for almost each one I try on, I have to wonder where VS’s Fragrance Magic went, and if it will ever come back (probably not). Because they are all starting to smell the same to me, and nothing to write home about either. 🙁

I’m glad you guys said it…it’s so different than it used to be. I miss the uniqueness of their older stuff.

I dont know how native speakers perceive a name like that, but to me it sounds erhm…a bit tacky. 😮

True… as a native speaker, I say it doesn’t exactly “flow”, or have the most classy ring…but I think they are going for a whole concept thing with the “Very Sexy” lines. Perhaps not universal in appeal. I miss the old VS. Before sexy was so noisy. 😀
