Happy hump day! What’s your fragrance today?
I’m wearing Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic. Tania Sanchez gave it 2 stars. Once again, I have no quarrel with a “delightful, fresh mandarin base” but not a “full fragrance”, and objectively (ha!), I’m not sure I would give it any more than 2 1/2 or 3 stars. But in terms of how much I enjoy wearing it, how much I paid for it, and how well it fits into my own collection and / or serves the purpose for which I bought it, it’s easily a 4 star fragrance, and I’m glad they did not turn it into anything other than what it is — a quick shot of happy citrus.
