Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 20 July 2016 8 Comments

Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy

Singer Ariana Grande has launched Sweet Like Candy, a new "tempting twist on the original debut fragrance", 2015's Ari by Ariana Grande.

Playful at heart wrapped in decadent desire. Inspired by Ariana's seductively sweet, fun and sexy personality, unlock your most delightful daydream, flirt with the delicious possibilities and find yourself tickled pink with temptation. A luscious burst of sugar-frosted blackberry and juicy Italian bergamot sparkle with delicious addiction, while velvety layers of crème de cassis, fluffy marshmallow and sexy vanilla blend together to leave a sexy trail.

Additional notes include pear, jasmine, frangipani, honeysuckle and cashmere woods.

Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy is available now at Ulta. The line up includes 10, 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum, plus a 150 ml "Hair Mist with Pom Pom Hair Ties".

normally these celeb fragrance bottles are so horrid-looking, but this monochrome design is adorable in a good way. The faceted opaque triangles are very “Pleats Please”/Bao Bao, to the pale pink thats not a cheap fuschia, and the oversize pompom that’s exactly the same size as the bottle is perfectly calibrated to generate “ooh i want it” from not only young girls, but adults who grew up on Sanrio and such.

It looks way nicer than it did in clear glass. I think they might have made the pompom bigger?

You’re right, the bottle is very cute and would look nice next to my Hello Kitty atomizer (from which I dumped the liquid ASAP because it was truly foul). I’m afraid that this perfume would be wasted on me too, or maybe I would be doing everybody a favor by removing one bottle from circulation?

I wish some fantastic niche brand would team up with Sanrio — can you imagine if you could get a wonderful incense fragrance inside a Hello Kitty atomizer? I’d buy two.

I am not sure what good removing a bottle from circulation would do because it pretty definitely comes from an infinite vat.

That list of notes makes it sound sweeeeeeeeeet. Literally the sweetest scent I can imagine. And yet I think if I see it lying around in some department store I am going to smell it, just out of curiosity.

“Hair Mist with Pom Pom Hair Ties” is one of the best match-ups of product with a celebrity and her fans I have ever seen. (I would have to be paid a goodly sum of money to even sniff it, myself)

They did the pom pom hair ties for her first scent too 🙂

I’m glad I have a dentist appointment later, because the description gave me a cavity!
