    What are “beach blossoms”?
I like Aniston’s style, will check this one out.

Both of her previous efforts are gathering dust @ Marshalls.

I think this is her 4th? Her line has not taken the world by storm, that’s for sure. But I assume they’re making something from them, or they’d stop.

The first one, smells nice at first- salty/jasmin-y- but then there is this weird cat pee smell at the end, and then it dries down to a sort of florally cat pee scent. There are people who can pull that off. I was not one of them.

I’ll look for this one and give it a sniff out of curiosity. It sounds so simple, I have some hope it’s nice.

One never knows, hope springs eternal, and all that.

I would sniff it except I am never in Kohls, and the couple times I made special trips there to smell things, testers were hard to come by. So I will never smell it 😉

Kohls is funny with the perfume testers. I live within driving distance of three stores. One has a huge, up-to-date selection of testers, another has almost none, and third store has a moderate selection. Weird.

And, oh! Just remembered I’ve seen testers for the older Jennifer Anison scents at Target.

Sometimes the reason for the dearth of testers is theft. Some juices go bad in the hot store, and sometimes bottles and spray mechanisms are broken. New ones must be ordered and delivered. That takes time, especially when a store is a far-flung outpost.

Unfortunately, I don’t like any of her releases.

I know celebrities don’t actually wear the perfumes put out under their names – well maybe SJP wears the first one – but if her first few offerings are any indication at all of Jennifer’s taste I’d say she is one of those people who don’t actually like perfume. They just don’t smell of anything much.

I may be in the minority but really liked her first perfume. Another blog mentioned the jasmine note with a hint of banana, and while I only get jasmine with a hint of gardenia and musk, it’s light, pretty and a go-to summer scent when I don’t want to think hard about what I want to wear but want to smell “nice.” And it was a steal.

The last two have totally passed me by, but I’d try them if I encountered them since the first is lovely, simple and summery. The same goes for this one, though I suspect it’s far too aquatic for my liking based on the notes.

I really like the first one, too. I took it on a camping trip over the 4th because I didn’t have to feel bad about it baking in the hot weather!
