What is it: Tauer Perfumes' new Rose Delight Body Oil — "Treat yourself with this luxuriously scented body oil. 90% cold pressed Jojoba oil and 10% fragrant delight" — courtesy of Andy Tauer. Three 50 ml bottles are up for grabs, one for each of three winners. (And if you just want to buy a bottle, it's currently being offered at an introductory price.)

The fine print: Tauer Perfumes is no longer able to mail to Italy, Spain, Russia, Croatia or Greece, sorry! I like a number of Tauer scents but nothing has ever topped Lonestar Memories, which I adore. It’s pretty much perfect.

I have not tried many Tauers either, but I do like L’Air Du Desert Marocain quite a bit. The last body oil I tried was of Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino.
Favorite Tauer? That would be L’Air Du Desert Marocain. But there are so many vying for second!
My favorite Tauer is Incense Rose, with Rose Chypree a very close second! I find its sillage and longevity fantastic. I have a Rose Flash rollerball which is great for layering. I had the great pleasure of meeting Andy a few months ago. He is so interesting and loves to discuss his creations!
I have a few Tauers and Tauervilles I love, so it’s hard to pick, but I’ll have to go with Vanilla Flash being my favorite (with LADDM and PHI running very close behind, and Fruitchouli Flash getting a shoutout for just charming me silly).
My favorite body oil is organic virgin coconut oil. It is naturally moisturizing and antibacterial, absorbs into skin well, has a pleasant fragrance, no potentially toxic ingredients, and it’s inexpensive.

My favorite body oil is Caudalie’s Divine Oil, which like the Tauer has rose notes. But I haven’t smelled the Tauer so I’m open to a new favorite!

Thanks Robin and Andy for the draw. I am a big Tauer fan and love many–faves include Incense Rose, Reverie Au Jardin and most recently Lonesome Rider. Use unscented Nutragenia and also Caudelie’s Divine Oil (which really is divine!). Can’t wait to try this one.

Yes siree. I’m not accumulating more scent products supposedly, but a few of my sniffy clients would lurrrrve a little rose oil with their massages.
I’m kind of the oil queen because of the work I do. My favorite for Winter is ginger massage oil made by Badger. Favorite for summer is the regular deep tissue Biotone cream with a few drops of lavender EO added.
Fave Tauer: LDDM.

Currently my fave AT fragrances are Rose Flash and Vanilla Flash, though I’m fervently wishing A Dark Passage will make a return after falling in love with a sample ages ago. I’ve been doing to try this since reading Andy’s posts about it. Sadly even the introductory price is too rich for my blood this summer! I hope I don’t regret it like when I didn’t order Lonesome Rider unsniffed.

The only Tauer I own is Amber Flash, which eclipsed SSS’s Ambre Noir as my go-to amber, but my favorite is Lonestar Memories. Every time I see it in a perfume shop I have to smell it again.
Lonestar Memories is probably my favorite Tauer. I love the creosote!

Thanks so much for this opportunity. You definitely have my permission to use my email address. I have several Tauer samples that I have enjoyed. For me though, its a tie between the Rose Flash and the Vanilla Flash.
My favorite body oil right now is Aerin Lauder’s Rose Body Oil. It leaves a nice, light, rosy scent on your skin.The cheapest oil that I have ever used that is very effective is Neutrogena Body Oil. Now that stuff is amazing!
My Tauer favorites are Zeta, LADDM, and Sotto la Luna Gardenia.

I love so many Tauer fragrances, it is hard to just pick one. But if I have to, it would be PHI Une Rose de Kandahar. There is something breathtaking about that scent. I did not know that body oils were available from Tauer, but I am sure it is lovely and would love to try it.

I’m sorry to say I haven’t tried anything from the Tauer line. Ages ago I used the body oil from Neutrogena which I recall having a sesame scent (which sounds weird now). I just looked it up…yup, a light sesame formula). Thanks for the draw!
I’ve tried a sample or two from Tauer, but I don’t have a favorite. My best body oil was a Chanel perfume gel ( I can’t remember the name) mixed with Neutrogena oil.
Current favorite may be Sotto La Luna Tuberose…

I don’t have a fav Tauer body product, but my fav of his fragrances is Maroc pour Elle. My fav body oil ever is Neutrogena “sesame”, but I do also love fragrance dry body oils: Annick Goutal Heure Exquise, Bottega Veneta and the new Chanel No 5.

PHI! One of my top five of all my fragrances! Would love to try this because Rose is a very difficult note for me, but I have really loved and/or liked almost all of Tauer’s Roses.

My fave Tauer fragrance is easily L’Air du Desert Marocain. This fragrance makes me melt, slowly and silkily, into a puddle of happy nose.

Sadly, I have never sniffed a Tauer (that I am aware). Have nor delved much into the realm of body oils either, but my mom is a devotee of Neutrogena’s body oil. I used hers in my teens for a spell. It has a light, sesame scent.
Incense Rose is a favorite, smells like Istanbul and their lovely rose oil they use for massages. I admit I am positively addicted to body oil, very dry skin not helped by Minnesota winters, so picking a favorite is almost impossible! But I will choose Demeters Amber for its light scent that doesn’t overwhelm, which means I can be VERY generous when I apply 🙂
Lonesome Rider is my favorite Tauer – it smells just like my memory of where I grew up (the Canadian Rockies). My students (9th and 10th grade) all love it when I wear PHI Une Rose de Kandehar – something about it really makes them feel happy. I wear it on days that I know will be stressful for them (like test days).

I ran out of L’Air du Desert and thought I could live without it… not so! I’m going to have to order more, so I guess that makes it my favorite. My wife’s favorite, however, is Une Rose Chyprée.

I love Tauerville Rose Flash (and the Amber + Vanilla rollerballs I split with you!) and never used body oil. Also went from thinking I don’t like rose to enjoying jammy rose to enjoying ALL types of rose (Mille et Une Roses, Lush Rose Jam and without a doubt, the gorgeous Nahema).
Would love to try. Especially since I may have the driest skin in the universe.
I love Une rose Chypree and Maroc pour Elle, although I have samples of all of the Tauers currently in production and have lots of likes among them. I have never used regular body oil but really like the Occitaine Almond Shower Oil.

I haven’t settled on a favorite Tauer yet — still so many to try! I use grapeseed oil in homemade salt scrubs, usually with some Yves Rocher Citrus Flower edt added. (The scent is gone by the time I put on perfume).

It is Sophie’s choice with three perfumes here: Une Rose Vermeille is the most beautiful rose, Noontide Petals (and Miriam) were my gateways to classic perfumes and Zeta is such an uplifting fragrance (hmm, need to wear my Tauers more often).
