Lolita Lempicka So Sweet ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 13 June 2016 4 Comments

Lolita Lempicka So Sweet

Lolita Lempicka will launch So Sweet, a new perfume for women. So Sweet is a flanker to 2014's Sweet, which was a flanker to 1997's Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum.

So Sweet is described as 'mischievous and charming', and was developed by perfumers Anne Flipo and Caroline Dumur. The notes feature cherry, mandarin, raspberry leaf, iris, rose, angelica, musk and cashmeran.

Lolita Lempicka So Sweet will be available in in 30, 50 and 80 ml; look for it in July.

Is this supposed to be their ‘intense’ interpretation of Sweet? I recall not trying the original Sweet due to its fleeting nature, but if this is a more amped up version, I may have to find a sample.

Hard to say … might be the opposite, wondering if what it really is it fruitier? Anne Flipo said they reworked the cherry to give it “un supplément de peps” (“extra pep”). The article also says “tangy” and “mischievous” and “more frivolous”.

“How sweet it is!” Why the plethora of sweet fragrances lately?
The bottle looks plastic. I’m an avid collector of the apple bottles. I don’t like the look of this one.
As for Sweet, I have it and am amazed that it is pleasantly wearable and I’ve received compliments on it.

      Gourmand is in 🙂

Hope the bottle looks better in person.
