As we wait for No. 5 L'Eau, Chanel reminds us that they make Chanel perfumes.

I just watched this twice, and all I can think of to say is, “Well, OK then.” I mean…it’s…yeah, I get it…I think I’m about to come over all Kiwi and say, “Yep, sweet as. G’d on yah, mate.” I’m at a loss to account for my reaction, because we’ve certainly seen far, far worse advertisements than that one!

It’s hard to know how to react after watching one of these rapid delivery ads from Chanel. They’ve been doing them for several years and I’m getting sick of them. Still, nicely done.

Well, that was a whole lot of words.

It’s like a more serious, prettier version of the opening credits for Monty Python.

+1 to everything you guys said. I liked the one they did a couple years ago on the history of Chanel No. 5, but didn’t think this one worked as well.

I’m tempted to cut the sound and watch it again. Just too much words that feels like fluff.

Now I understand why chanel is problematic for me. I said before they all smell like “generic” perfume, but more precisely, they all smell like “abstract” perfumes.

Makes me think of Patti Smith, although I don’t think of her as the Chanel type.

Now, that would be kinda cool if she was- All cerebral punk rock, and then you get close and she would smell of 31 Rue!
