Byredo Rodeo ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 4 May 2016 8 Comments

Byredo Rodeo

Niche line Byredo will launch Rodeo, a new unisex fragrance, in June.

Horse lovers, and anyone who finds the scent of fine, broken-in leather particularly intoxicating, will be drawn to this unisex fragrance, which is lighter than you'd expect—more country fair nostalgic than campfire smoky.

I will update with notes when I can.

Byredo Rodeo will be available in in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

(via harpersbazaar)

Update: Rodeo is exclusive to the Byredo store on Wooster Street in New York City.

Wow, Byredo is certainly pumping it out. I feel like with every release they try to reiterate how much milder or lighter their fragrances are.

In this case, that copy comes from Harpers Bazaar, not Byredo. So it is probably mild, but it wasn’t Byredo that said so 🙂

They really are pumping them out. They just came out with “Super Cedar” and now this one. The more a house pumps out fragrances, the more skeptical and uninterested I become, as usually they are nothing special.

I have not even smelled Super Cedar yet. Actually I think I’ve missed a few at this point. I did not love Mojave Ghost.

    It’s a second cowboy-related perfume today, isn’t it 😉

Ha, maybe they will layer perfectly!

Ben Gorham is really a marketing person, not a perfume one. I saw him on a Swedish show with several people having a dinner conversation. Everyone was asking him a lot of perfume-related questiona and it was quite apparent he didn’t know much.
