I want this just because it sounds so terrible in the best way. I bought that Backpacker’s cologne by Juniper Ridge and I have yet to try it. Kevin’s review basically conjured up an image of skank and sweat so I thought I may want to wait until summer to wear it. I rather the scent stick to a tank top that I can trash than some nice cashmere or Italian wool blazer.
Which Backpacker’s cologne? (there is more than 1 at Juniper Ridge) You haven’t even tried it on paper? That’s patience!

Seeing perfumes like this make me think about our taste for perfumes in the next century. We have had plants animals, leather, sweets, some savouries, and headspaces of places, armpits…what is next?
Some dogs would admittedly smell better with a little spritz of smoked bacon 😉
