Tauerville Fruitchouli Flash ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 8 March 2016 21 Comments

Tauerville Fruitchouli Flash

Andy Tauer's Tauerville brand has launched Fruitchouli Flash, the latest fragrance in the brand's Flash series (the last was Amber Flash).

A fine fruity floral on a warm and rich and musky patchouli base.

The fruits: Apricot and peach, and yes: They feel very natural due to the natural apricot extract.

The heart: a dash of rose and white flowers.

The patchouli: 100% natural, softened with a fruity musk and a dash of this and that.

The sweetness: Moderate.

Wearability: Total.

Tauerville Fruitchouli Flash is available now at Tauerville, CHF 60 for 30 ml Eau de Parfum.

It is not my favorite category, but I LOVE that there is now a fragrance named Fruitchouli, which unless I’m mistaken is a term that originally came from Perfume Posse?

I remember reading about it on Grain de Musc but for sure she could have borrowed it.

I’d try it just because of the name.

I’m dreaming of rollerball availability! But it looks as though they have been phased out…?

Don’t know if they’re phased out or just not made yet?? Sorry.

Me too! I think rollerballs still exist, but you just can’t buy them separately (more recently, I think they’ve been extras with purchases?). It’s such a shame, though; I’d really love to try this but can’t justify a bottle (though I can always justify a rollerball).

I was actually thinking longingly of apricots just yesterday. Maybe I’ll dab on some Jasmin et Cigarette later. . .

Looking forward to this! As much as I would like to share my “x”-Flash bottles (swap, freebie, whatever), the atomizers they come in are cr-ppy – more leaked out than landed in the sample atomizer the last time I did this so the poor recipient only got a tiny amount.

Oddly enough, they spray just fine when I apply them to myself. Same with my Malle bottles – they spray fine to wear but perfume goes everywhere when I try to decant. I am thinking the spray is a wide mist rather than a directed shot?

I’m not ashamed to admit that I love a well done fruitchouli.
And he hooked me at peach. 😉

Yes, me too. Peach can be awful. Peach can be great. I’m going to do my darndest to try this.

I’m not opposed to a good fruitchouli, and anything from Andy Tauer is worth trying. I’m actually wearing Rose Flash today, and I smell great!

Does this man ever rest, with such quality releases?!?

Just received the unusual and yummy Lonesome Rider at the ridiculously reasonable preorder price. Such as class act Tauer is — he always sends such lovely handwritten notes and a sample or three.
