Atelier Cologne Bergamote Soleil ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 8 January 2016 14 Comments

Atelier Cologne Bergamote Soleil

Atelier Cologne has launched Bergamote Soleil, the latest addition to their Cologne Absolue collection.

Bergamote Soleil is effervescent and lively with a soft hint of floral in the background. This unisex fragrance offers a sunny composition built around the freshness of bergamot from Calabria. Concentrated at 15 percent fragrance, it is a pure perfume that provides the freshness and elegance of a cologne but lasts on your skin.

The notes feature bergamot, bigarade, ambrette, jasmine, lavender, cardamom, vetiver, oak moss and white amber.

Atelier Cologne Bergamote Soleil is available now at Sephora, in 30 and 100 ml Cologne Absolue and in a travel spray.

Ooh, I’ve been waiting for an Atelier citrus that was either bergamot or lemon! Looking forward to trying this one.

Elleebelle, Cedrat Envirant really covers the lemon fairly well. Not sure if they would do another with specifically “Lemon” or “Citron” in the name.

Must try! IMHO this scent should have been included as part of the gift card sampler tin. I’m just glad this is part of the regular collection and not the uber-expensive metal series!

Yes, it’s nice to see them return to basics.

I love bergamot! I haven’t found an Atelier that I really wanted to buy- something in the dry down is just off on me. I did get a very generous decant of Blanche Immortelle which I DO like, but not enough to buy a FB. I will definitely give this one a sniff and keep my fingers crossed. Sounds like it would be good one to wear here in the swamps.

I stopped by 2 Sephoras on my walk back to NYPenn but, boo hiss, neither one had it on display as yet. I am angling for a sample.

If you’re in NYC, may want to stop by the Nolita store. I called Ross and they have it.

Atelier Cologne is one of my favorite houses and I loves me some citrus. Cedrat Envirant and Mandarine Glaciale weren’t for me–the first was too sweet, the second somehow too photo-realistic (felt like I had doused myself in orange juice). Pomelo Paradis has a pleasant opening, but fades pretty quickly.

Think Bergamote Soleil might just be the one–bright, sunny, and uplifting, I get a definite grapefruit vibe on the opening that mellows into something softer. Spritzed some on last night, and this morning the scent lingers close to the skin.

    Eau, yes!
